Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete your WhyAds account and the data associated with it at any time. This page explains how, including for data received through Facebook Login and Google.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to support@whyads.app from the email address of your WhyAds account, with the subject "Delete my WhyAds account".
- We will confirm your request by email. We may ask you to confirm it, to make sure the request is yours.
- We delete your account and its data within 30 days and confirm it by email.
What we delete
Your account and profile, your businesses and brand profiles, uploaded logos, generated ad designs and campaign plans, and the access tokens for your connected Google and Meta accounts, which we also revoke. Database backups are deleted within 14 additional days.
We keep only what the law requires, such as billing records, and records of actions taken in your advertising accounts when needed to resolve disputes.
What we don't delete
Campaigns and ads that WhyAds created in your Google Ads or Meta accounts belong to those accounts. Deleting your WhyAds account does not delete them; you can pause or remove them in Google Ads or Meta Ads Manager.
Remove WhyAds from Facebook
- Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy, then Settings.
- Open Business Integrations.
- Find WhyAds and click Remove.
This stops WhyAds from accessing your Meta data. To also delete the data we already have, send the request described above.
Remove WhyAds from Google
Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions, choose WhyAds and remove its access. You can also disconnect Google from the WhyAds app.
